    The ability to pass structures to Stateflow charts is available from Stateflow 6.5 (R2006b) .
     
    To work around this issue for a previous version of Stateflow, use the Embedded MATLAB Function block and the ASSIGNIN and EVALIN functions to read structures into Stateflow from the base MATLAB workspace.
    For an example on using structures in Stateflow 6.5 (R2006b), execute the following command in MATLAB:
    web([docroot,'/toolbox/stateflow/ug/bquvixr.html'])
